In the Blackbird classroom we strive to improve the independence of our students and to ensure our blackbirds have the necessary social emotional skills to thrive as they grow into the wonderful kids we know they will become. We integrate outdoor exploration as often as we can, from simple walks through the woods where we experience animals and plants around us, to more targeted projects that help build understanding of the natural world and how we interact with it and each other. We love to experiment with our artistic visions, and engage in imaginative play.
